[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i42.tinypic.com/dmvc7s.jpg); width: 290px; padding-top:10px;] THE POSITIONS WITHIN THE KINGDOMS · royal. are the influential members of a kingdom. it is composed of a king, a queen, and their children. usually the royals marry one of the upper civilians that their parents choose for them. the royal do not mingle easily with each other, and they are held on a pedestal that discourages the civilians from communicating with them. · mage. are the ones with the magic, they serve under the royal family, and they are closer to them than one would expect. the mages are not allowed to marry with each other or a royal, because of the risk that too much power and magic could have. it doesn't stop them however, the children of two mages are usually powerless. and the mages can only have one type of power- but they are not limited to what they do. · knights. are the ones with all the muscle and no brains. they also serve under the royal family and as protectors of them and their people. the knights are not allowed to marry until they have 'retired', but no one really cares about that rule anyways. the knights are usually young men from the middle and lower class of the civilians who are lucky enough to have been picked by the king to train to become a knight. · civilian. the civilians are the general people within a kingdom that are not royal nor do they have powers. the civilians can either be wealthy or poor- and the wealthy tend to mingle with the royals and the mages more than the poor do.
